Fall flavors: Dunkin Donuts “pumpkin muffin.”

Now that the weather is starting to change in the North East and it’s finally starting to feel like Fall, I want everything to be pumpkin flavored! So, of course, I had to try the Dunkin Donuts “pumpkin white chocolate latte” and the “pumpkin muffin.” I don’t know if Dunkin Donuts has ever had a pumpkin muffin before, or if I just never tried it, or if I had it and wasn’t impressed, but let me tell you something, it is amazing! The flavor is great, spicy and sweet, but not overwhelmingly pumpkin flavored. More impressive, to me anyway, is how fresh it tastes. It tastes as if it was made fresh that day on the premises! I really don’t know anything about how Dunkin Donuts makes their donuts or muffins, but I guess I just always thought they were made off the premises somewhere and sent out frozen and defrosted before they were sold. That is not what these muffins taste like! They are so moist and delicious! They taste as good as a muffin made in any high end bakery and, believe me, there are so many high end bakeries in my area that I consider myself an expert on the topic. Best of all, you can get a large white chocolate pumpkin latte and the pumpkin muffin for about $5. So go out already and get some!
